Hi-Speed Motorcycles has rolled out an updated version of its SR-150 in Pakistan, bringing a new red colour option along with changes to the bike’s design and electrical parts.
The new version stands apart from the current black model mainly because of its colour, but the company says the update is not limited to looks alone.
According to Hi-Speed, the front LED headlight setup has been redesigned, and the daytime running lights have also been revised. The rear taillight has received a fresh look as well, giving the motorcycle a different front and back profile compared to the outgoing version.
Beyond the visual changes, the company said it has worked on the bike’s electrical components. Some parts on the earlier SR-150 had reportedly caused problems for riders, and Hi-Speed says these have now been fixed in the updated model.
The company has also confirmed that certain specifications of the SR-150 are being revised as part of this update. However, Hi-Speed has not shared the full specification sheet yet, so it is still not clear exactly which mechanical or equipment details have changed.
Until the company releases complete details, the existing black SR-150 remains the only reference point for buyers wanting to compare the two versions.
Price of the updated motorcycle has also not been decided yet. Hi-Speed told PakWheels that pricing is still being worked out internally and will be shared once finalised.
This means buyers should not assume the red SR-150 will carry the same price tag as the current model. The final cost could go either way once the company makes an announcement.
There is no confirmed booking amount or delivery timeline for the new version so far. Interested buyers will need to wait for Hi-Speed’s official statement on pricing and availability.
The Hi-Speed SR-150 is one of the more affordable 150cc options in the local market and competes with entry-level bikes from other domestic assemblers. Riders looking to buy the bike in its current form can still do so, since the black variant continues to be sold while the red model completes its rollout process.
