“Five marla” needs a square foot definition before it can be converted accurately. The Whatson Pakistan Area Converter makes that choice explicit instead of hiding a single assumed marla behind every answer.
Enter an existing area, choose its unit and select the relevant marla convention. The converter does not measure a plot or determine which convention applies to a specific property.
The same five marla can describe different areas
Here are three checked conversion cases. In each one, the input is 5 marla; only the definition changes.

The custom option accepts another square foot value. It should come from a known convention or document, not be adjusted to force a desired total.
The converter uses one kanal as 20 selected marlas. Five marla is therefore 0.25 kanal under each of those conventions, while its square foot area changes.
Square yards are not square feet
For the 225 sq ft convention, the 1,125 sq ft result also equals 125 sq yd. That division is by nine because area units square the length conversion.
A value of 125 square yards entered as 125 square feet would shrink the described area to one ninth of its intended size. Check the unit printed beside a measurement before entering the number.
The same 1,125 sq ft example converts to approximately 104.5159 m². Metric conversion uses the international foot; NIST lists the square foot factor used for this conversion.
Converting an area does not establish its boundary
A clean decimal result says nothing about whether the input was surveyed correctly. For a property transaction, compare the quoted area, units and marla definition with the relevant records and survey.

Keep sensible precision in your notes
The tool shows several decimal places for comparison. Copy enough detail to preserve the conversion, but do not present a rough tape measurement as though those decimal places establish survey accuracy.
When sharing a result, include the original value and unit, the selected marla size and the target unit. That small record often explains a disagreement that would otherwise look like a calculator error.
