An award described as 50% tuition coverage does not necessarily cover half of the entire fee notice. Noneligible dues and an award cap can change the balance you still need to pay.
Use Scholarship Fee Balance to apply a percentage or fixed PKR award to eligible tuition. The result is a fee calculation, not an eligibility assessment or confirmation that funding has been approved.
Identify what the award actually covers
Enter only eligible tuition in the tuition field. Put charges outside the award’s coverage in other noneligible dues.
Select percentage coverage or a fixed amount according to the award terms. The maximum payable award is a separate cap. If there is no additional cap in your scenario, enter an amount at least as large as the eligible tuition; do not leave the example cap without checking it.
A PKR 45,000 award leaves PKR 60,000
Suppose eligible tuition is PKR 90,000 and other dues are PKR 15,000. At 50% coverage, the calculated award is PKR 45,000.
With a maximum award cap of PKR 60,000, that percentage award remains unchanged. Remaining tuition is PKR 45,000, and the other PKR 15,000 still has to be paid. Total remaining dues are PKR 60,000.
Selecting a fixed PKR 45,000 award produces the same balance for these inputs. The match comes from the amounts, not from the two award methods being identical in every case.
The smaller limit controls the award
The applied award cannot exceed the eligible tuition or the entered maximum payable amount. A requested PKR 100,000 award against PKR 90,000 eligible tuition is therefore limited to that tuition, even when the cap is higher.
A cap of zero produces a zero applied award. It does not mean unlimited funding. Check that field carefully when the result is unexpectedly small.
Coverage and payment timing are separate
An approved award might be credited after an initial payment deadline or reimbursed later. This tool applies the award to the balance without modelling that timing.
Read the award letter and fee office instructions before assuming the reduced balance is the amount payable today. Renewal conditions, attendance and academic performance requirements are also outside this arithmetic tool.
For a fee notice built from credit charges, Semester Fee Calculator can help separate tuition, fixed dues and deposits first. Keep the official award terms beside the worksheet so the cap and eligible charges remain clear.
