A coupon budget starts with what the order must retain, not just with a percentage that looks appealing at checkout. The Maximum Coupon Calculator finds the minimum selling amount needed for included costs and your target profit, then compares that amount with the normal price.
Set the profit requirement before the discount
Enter normal price PKR 1,000, product cost PKR 600, packaging PKR 50 and shipping PKR 100. Set target profit at PKR 100 and percentage fee at zero. Costs plus target total PKR 850.
The price can therefore fall by PKR 150 while retaining the entered target. The maximum coupon is PKR 150, or 15% of the original price. This leaves no further allowance for expenses absent from the inputs.
Fees reduce the available coupon
Keep the same costs and target, but enter an illustrative 10% fee on the discounted selling amount. The required price becomes about PKR 944.44 because only 90% remains after the fee.
Headroom shrinks to about PKR 55.56. The calculation solves for the final fee bearing price; it does not simply subtract a PKR 100 fee from the earlier PKR 150 coupon allowance.
Zero coupon can still mean the target is impossible
With no fee and a target profit of PKR 500, the required price becomes PKR 1,250. Compared with the PKR 1,000 normal price, headroom is negative PKR 250. The maximum usable coupon is zero, but even the undiscounted order fails that target.
Read negative headroom as a pricing gap. It would be misleading to describe zero coupon as success without also noticing the unmet profit requirement. Review price or costs before publishing the promotion.
Test checkout rules against the calculated amount
The tool models one offer and the entered fee percentage. Minimum basket rules, repeated coupon use, stacked discounts or a separate delivery voucher can change actual receipts. They are not enforced by this calculator.
For a whole rupee coupon, round cautiously and recalculate the resulting selling price using Discount Price & Profit Calculator. Keep customer shipping receipts and shipping expenses consistent across the two tools. For free products instead of a money coupon, BOGO & Multi Buy Profit Calculator tracks all units supplied. The calculated limit is a cost boundary, not evidence that a campaign will increase demand.
