An interview at 14:00 in Karachi and a meeting at 14:00 in London are not scheduled for the same instant. Timezone conversion needs a date as well as a place, particularly where seasonal clock changes apply.
Use Timezone Date Converter with the source wall time, source zone and destination zone. Pakistan, UTC and several commonly used overseas zones are available.
Begin with a stable example
For 2026 July 1 at 14:00 in Asia/Karachi, UTC is 09:00 on the same date. London uses its summer offset on that date, so its display is 10:00.
The five hour Pakistan to UTC difference in this example is straightforward. Other zones can have seasonal offsets, which is why a fixed arithmetic shortcut is not enough for every destination throughout the year.
The PHP timezone database supplies the historical rules. If a host has outdated timezone data, updates on that host may be needed for a jurisdiction whose rules changed.
Some wall times do not identify one instant
When clocks move forward, a local time can fall inside a gap and never occur. When clocks move back, the same local time can occur twice. This tool rejects those nonexistent or ambiguous source times rather than choosing one silently.
If you receive that error, ask the organiser for the UTC instant or a time with an explicit offset. Changing the date until the form accepts it would change the appointment.
The conversion does not create a calendar invitation or account for travel time, office holidays or meeting duration. Confirm the date, destination zone and resulting local day before sending an arrangement.
For an international call, share the original timezone name as well as the converted time. An abbreviation alone can be unclear, while a named zone and complete date let the recipient check the same instant.
