Uppercase, lowercase and title case can help standardise labels. They do not repair spelling or make a name official. A case conversion should be treated as a presentation change with consequences for exact text matching.
Text Case Converter uses Unicode aware PHP case functions when the host has the mbstring extension. Choose the operation before processing the text.
Use a phrase whose result is clear
The phrase lahore market becomes LAHORE MARKET in uppercase and Lahore Market in title case. Converting ALI to lowercase gives ali.
Title case follows the library's character rules. It is not an editorial style guide that knows which conjunctions, abbreviations or brand names should stay in a special form. Review names such as iPhone or an organisation's official initials afterwards.
Urdu text does not have the same uppercase and lowercase distinction as Latin letters. A mixed Urdu and English sentence may therefore change only in its Latin portion.
Some systems care about the original spelling
A case sensitive username, password or technical identifier should not be normalised just because another label uses lowercase. Converting it can change what the receiving system recognises.
The tool does not transliterate Urdu into English, reshape a sentence or remove punctuation. Existing spaces and line breaks remain part of the text.
If PHP mbstring is missing, the operation reports that requirement. A host dependency error is different from an unsupported word or a badly written sentence.
Keep the source until you have reviewed the converted output. For a public heading, a manual final pass catches the special names that a general title case function cannot understand. For data exchange, use the exact case rule agreed with the receiving application.
