A Daraz sale can have three useful totals: customer receipts, profit after included selling costs, and the amount transferred to the seller. They answer different questions. The Daraz calculator keeps withholding separate and lets you specify whether courier cost is deducted from the settlement.
Use your own category and account charges
Daraz explains that commission depends on product category and directs sellers to the commission structure in their account. Check your current Seller Center information and settlement statement. The sample percentages below are arithmetic assumptions, not published Daraz rates.
Enter a listed item price of PKR 1,500, seller discount of PKR 100, shipping collected of PKR 100 and platform credit of PKR 50. Receipts are PKR 1,550. Choose net items as the fee basis: PKR 1,400, excluding shipping and the separate credit.
A complete example with an explicit basis
Assume commission 10%, service fee 2%, payment fee 1% and a fixed charge of PKR 20. The percentage deductions total PKR 182; the fixed charge brings fees to PKR 202. Entered tax on those fees at 10% adds PKR 20.20, giving PKR 222.20 total fees.
Product cost PKR 800, packaging PKR 50, courier cost PKR 100 and advertising PKR 100 total PKR 1,050. Profit before withholding is consequently PKR 277.80: receipts less fees and those costs.
Trace the cash deduction separately
An illustrative 2% withholding on receipts is PKR 31. With courier cost settled separately, estimated payout is PKR 1,296.80. If the same courier cost is deducted from the transfer, payout becomes PKR 1,196.80. Profit stays PKR 277.80 because courier cost was already included once.
The model does not decide the legal treatment of withholding or credits. It records the cash distinction. Your accountant and account documents determine how those amounts belong in statutory records.
Use the ledger when fee bases diverge
This tool uses the selected common basis for its percentage selling fees. If your statement calculates different charges on different bases, use Marketplace Fee Calculator to inspect those deductions individually. Do not force the statement to match by inventing a blended rate.
Refunds, penalties and later adjustments can change the transfer. Compare the estimate with Seller Settlement Reconciliation Calculator after the statement arrives.
