Tile shopping involves both coverage and whole boxes. A room can need one more box even when its spare area looks small.

Measure the surfaces, choose the actual tile dimensions and enter a cutting allowance suited to the pattern. Check pack contents before comparing the purchase total.

## Inputs and controls

* Measurement unit: Feet; Metres; Inches; Centimetres; Millimetres
* Tile length (in). Allowed range: 0.1 to 200
* Tile width (in). Allowed range: 0.1 to 200
* Tiles per box (tiles). Allowed range: 1 to 1000
* Laying pattern: Straight lay; Diagonal lay
* Ordering allowance (%). Allowed range: 0 to 100. Added once to the measured requirement.
* Box price (PKR / box). Allowed range: 0 to 1000000000. Optional. Enter your own supplier quote.
* Room
* Length. Allowed range: 0.001 to 100000
* Width. Allowed range: 0.001 to 100000
* Quantity. Allowed range: 1 to 1000

## How to use

* Choose measurement unit.

* Choose laying pattern. Enter tile length, tile width, tiles per box and ordering allowance.

* Enter box price.

* Add the entries in room schedule as separate rows. Include room, length, width and quantity for each row.

* Select Calculate estimate. Read the returned values alongside the assumptions below before copying, exporting or acting on the result.

No. It illustrates the arrangement. Corners, diagonal layouts and difficult cuts need their own allowance and a practical installation plan.
