Flooring packs rarely match a room's area exactly. The order needs to account for cutting and the coverage of each complete pack.

Enter all rooms on the same measurement basis, then apply the area allowance once. Compare flooring packs and underlay as separate quantities.

## Inputs and controls

* Measurement unit: Feet; Metres; Inches; Centimetres; Millimetres
* Plank length (in). Allowed range: 0.1 to 500
* Plank width (in). Allowed range: 0.1 to 200
* Planks per pack. Allowed range: 1 to 1000
* Underlay roll coverage (m²). Allowed range: 0.01 to 10000
* Ordering allowance (%). Allowed range: 0 to 100. Added once to the measured requirement.
* Flooring pack price (PKR / pack). Allowed range: 0 to 1000000000. Optional. Enter your own supplier quote.
* Underlay roll price (PKR / roll). Allowed range: 0 to 1000000000. Optional. Enter your own supplier quote.
* Room
* Length. Allowed range: 0.001 to 100000
* Width. Allowed range: 0.001 to 100000
* Quantity. Allowed range: 1 to 1000

## How to use

* Choose measurement unit.

* Enter plank length, plank width, planks per pack, underlay roll coverage and ordering allowance.

* Enter flooring pack price and underlay roll price.

* Add the entries in room schedule as separate rows. Include room, length, width and quantity for each row.

* Select Calculate estimate. Read the returned values alongside the assumptions below before copying, exporting or acting on the result.

### Will the plank illustration show the best cutting layout?

No. It is a visual reference. An installer still needs to plan joins, edge cuts and the direction of the flooring.
